Pointillism: League Characters
Class: Junior Studio I
Year: 2021
Description
Junior Studio I was the first class that us graphic design students, got to choose the project we worked on. I immediately wanted to do a project that was related to my favorite game: League of Legends. Making my own skins felt unrealistic for the 12 week time frame we had on top of the other classes I had so I needed to take a step back and think. I redrew some of my favorite characters from the game and thought it’d be cool to illustrate them in a unique way. The ideas that came to mind were Realism, Pointillism, and Surrealism. I ended up choosing Pointillism because that made the most sense to me and thought it’d be a fun challenge. I ended up choosing some of the Yordles from the game because they are cute and are less work! Overall I’m happy with how these turned out even thought the process was quite tedious.

	Urban Cuts 390
Class: Identity Branding II
Year: 2021
DescriptionThis project in Identity Branding II required us students to find an existing company and redesign their current identity. Urban Cuts 390 is a barbershop located in Napa and to me, seemed like they were in desperate need of a redesign. Some obstacles with this identity revamp was the ‘390’ being awkward as well as making this still look like a barbershop. This design was made completely in Adobe Illustrator and took four weeks to complete.

	C’est La Vie
Class: Identity Branding II
Year: 2021
DescriptionC’est La Vie is a made up company by two of my classmates from Identity Branding II. This project was intended to simulate a client-to-designer scenario. C’est La Vie is a women’s clothing company that started during COVID and want to establish in a physical store. This was a good challenge for me because the style and message of C’est La Vie is way out of my comfort zone. So through multiple sketches and revisions I finally came up with something both my clients and I liked.

	Adams Lithographing

Internship: Graphic Design
Year: 2/2023 - 6/2023
Description
During my brief time in Tennessee I took on an internship at Adams Lithographing under a graphic designer who goes by That Murphy Boy. I learned so much during my time there and was able to be hands on with many processes. I was able to contribute in designing Tenn Cans Double Barrel smoke pellets, Donkey Dust, and photograph many products for marketing. I was in charge of all of the file organizing for each project including ones that I was not involved with designing.

Year: 2022-2023
Description
For my senior thesis project I wanted to find a way to combine my two passions, art and fitness. There were a lot of ways I could tackle this project but I tried to not get overwhelmed with the possiblities. Fitness Quest is a fitness app/game hybrid that allows you to complete quests by doing runs. I was able to create a prototype by using the app Figma, and was able to simulate how the app would function. The goal of this thesis was to create an app that would in theory inspire many people to become active/more active. Fitness can sometimes be dreadful or boring so why not make it fun!

	<img width="400" height="800" width_o="400" height_o="800" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/94798611e4d42845dd22568dc91a76ead3f7d4fc902ebac373b604a83606bf74/running.gif" data-mid="248475375" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/400/i/94798611e4d42845dd22568dc91a76ead3f7d4fc902ebac373b604a83606bf74/running.gif" />
This is an example of a moving GIF image that would display while doing a run. There would be multiple GIFs like this depending on the region you would be on. There would be no distractions on these GIFs that would cause someone to look down to their phone while running. I want there to be as little danger as possible while doing your runs on this app.

Here are some of the characters you would encounter on the island. Each one had their own unique interactions and gameplay mechanics. For example, Dizzy (me), is in charge of the achievement hill. On your fitness journey, you will get trophies based off of how fast of a mile you ran, how far of a distance you ran (etc. 5mi, 10mi, 20mi), and runs completed. Then you would be able to choose 3 trophies you were most proud of or which you thought were the coolest to display on your island!

Here is a quick poster key with some explanations to areas and functions of Fitness Quest! This was a poster printout for thesis night for people interested in learning more about my app prototype.<img width="531" height="799" width_o="531" height_o="799" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/14b2c1b6d6a66893bb19ce0c4f3cf2eeee922a9d414b30dced798c1b90bd5c8a/image_2026-05-19_092309607.png" data-mid="248477233" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/531/i/14b2c1b6d6a66893bb19ce0c4f3cf2eeee922a9d414b30dced798c1b90bd5c8a/image_2026-05-19_092309607.png" />
This is a screenshot of what my prototype looked like in Figma. It was a 5 minute demo of how the app would run on startup with its many different paths depending on your current fitness level. Specifically the three options on startup are: What’s running? I run every now and then, and I’m a running Pro! This would tell the game how to set the levels tailored to the persons current fitness.

	Empty Fields
Class: Junior Studio II
Date: 2021
Description
In Junior Studio II we were thrown a curveball. We worked on a project of our own choice for 4 weeks but were suddenly prompted to drop our current projects, and do something completely different. Originally I was making phone cases based of the elements but switched to a game concept called Empty Fields. This game would consist of my close friend group as the five main characters that were sent to an alternate world in which we were guided by a mysterious character with a fox mask (very original).&nbsp;

The masked stranger tells The Boys that they will be the new heroes that will save paradise. Ecstatic, The Boys decide to follow this masked stranger. The stranger guides them through many battles against unknown creatures and leads them closer to paradise. What The Boys do not know is that this masked stranger isn’t leading them to paradise, but to the empty fields which they will be killed.

	TCHO Chocolate Bars
Class: Packaging Design
Year: 2022
DescriptionTCHO is an existing chocolate bar brand and was in desperate need of a redesign. For this assignment, our class went to local supermarkets and stores in search for chocolate bars that may taste good, but looked like they didn’t. From there, we’d redesign the packaging and make our own physical mock ups of the new bar. TCHO is a company that takes pride in its use of ingredients from foreign countries. So I decided to add the country’s flag to its respective chocolate bar as well as a visual element that is common in that country. The main challenges didn't lie in the rebranding but in making the die lines and actually wrapping it around the bar. After tens of failed attempts I finally got a result I was content with.

	Sigma Shoes
Class: Interactive Design
Year: 2021
DescriptionThis class was my introduction to the app “Figma” which allows you to prototype apps and interactions. This assignment we got to make up our own app and design basic interactions and UI. Sigma Shoes is a shoe selling company that tends to the people who overspend on mediocre shoes to flex on their peers. I didn’t want to go too overboard on making fun of this group of people and wanted to make a legit looking app for expensive shoes. I stuck with sharp shapes and a sans serif typeface to keep it clean and modern. This parameters of this assignment was to make two complete interactions that the user could complete. One was checking out an item, while the other was changing shoe size and adding/removing and item from the cart.

	Structural Design Posters
Class: History of Graphic Design
Year: 2021
Description
History of Graphic Design was mainly a lecture based class but the final project for the class was to make 3 posters based off of structural design from designers we studied in the past. The three designers I was inspired by were Mark Newson, Tom Dixon, and Carsten Holler. I grabbed elements from their artwork and connected it with fun illustrations. Mark Newson’s design was a cabinet shaped like a honeycomb and web that I connected to entangled hands. Tom Dixon’s design was a chair made out of very thin metal wire that I implemented on a deer’s antlers. Lastly, Carsten Holler’s design was upside down mushrooms in a room which I decided to make an upside down tree that sort of resembles a brain which is on the left here. It was very fun to connect existing design to my own for an art history class.
