The final for this class had us making postcards for the PUC bookstore in Angwin. The goal of this assignment was to be able to illustrate the vibe of Angwin while staying away from the typical grapevine stereotype in the Napa Valley. Although I myself don’t ride bikes, most of my professors love to talk about riding on the trails around campus in the Angwin area. The small town of Angwin itself is a very pleasant and simple place. I tried to illustrate that energy with this postcard with dynamic shapes and little detail.
